Okay, Don’t Listen
An update to this post.
A day after nonsense allegations that racism is the reason openly self-confessed corrupt Senator Roland Burris enjoys single digit approval ratings, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has suddenly backed off his demand for a special election to replace the man.
And Dick Durbin, who hated Burris, then liked him, and then hated him again, has spontaneously agreed to mentor the man, work with him, and maybe turn Burris into a first class Democratic senator.
He could start by removing any semblance of backbone. They played the race card, and you gave in. Again.
Democrats: vote on conscience, not on race. The black community, who has historically been victimized by the Democratic Party since the 1960s, is not about to do the strategic thing and go back to the GOP. So don’t worry about currying their favor by listening to a tiny, manipulative segment of that community. Instead, try something new: the right thing.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
