Since we’re doing some Catholic inside baseball*, I keep meaning to mention that the new (and to my mind improved) translation of the New Order of Mass (the Novus Ordo) in English is moving forward. (Why a new translation? Short version: the old one was rushed and is poor at conveying the sense of the original in places.)

Here’s where the current version is at. It’s PDFs marked COMPLETE TEXT. One is annotated with scriptural references.

The Gormogons are not of one mind about the new translation, but I think we can all agree that ’Puter will no doubt endorse (and need) the return of through my most grievous fault.

*Or fútbol interior for GorT since he detests baseball and loves “the beautiful game” and likely drops “nil” and “extra time” into all his sports talk now…
