Mind the Furniture Store
Right. Well, as you know, GorT sent a message to the world by deliberately causing the Kaguya probe to crash into the surface of the Moon as a demonstration of our power.
JAXA, Japan’s version of NASA (except they seem to getting projects done on time and budget), released photos of the probe’s final moments.
You can read about it here, although the Google translator seems to be off for the week, and Japanese-to-English translation seems to be handled by a temp on loan from the Armenian-to-Tagalog translator:
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), launched in 2007 on September 14, 2009 Monday, June 11 satellites orbiting the moon to control the fall, “furniture store”, still images were taken just before the fall of the control of high-definition camera.
This image is taken, “and smell” the impact point of control (GILL near the crater) for the lower elevation and about a continuous minutes of high-definition cameras (telephoto) is taken.
“Smell” with the people gradually reduce the height to see how well the images from the moon looming.
After this, “Moon” is headed to the impact point of control for the shade, and darkness in the moon, the moon could not be taken.
Therefore, the image of the “furniture store” will be the last shot of the moon’s high-definition cameras.
Yikes.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
