The Czar remains astonished. Using Vegas odds to determine how a team will wind up is not any indication of ability, but on how people are betting. That is why odds are tied to gambling. Using odds to explain that a team who failed in the semifinals is better than a team who made it deep into the finals is a bit like…well, like claiming that future money will be saved by spending money today.
Future “victories” are not real victories, nor are future “victories” guaranteed.
