Clueless
Nancy Pelosi continues to misinterpret the pulse of America as a cool disco beat, when in reality it is fingers tapping in annoyance. Indeed, the thumping of drums may follow the August recess.
In a story barely starting to get national attention, she dismissed anti-ObamaCare protestors as Nazis, carrying swastikas. The WSJ reviewed the Denver protest and confirmed that, indeed, one protestor had a swastika on a sign as an anti-Nazi complaint, complete with circle and slash through it.
Madame Speaker fails to recognize history.
Of course, in most rhetoric or debate classes, instructors warn students that the moment they accuse their opponents of Naziism, they effectively concede the argument. Guess what she did? And if you want to compare anyone to Nazis, remember how they took over the German auto industry. And instituted a snitch-on-your-neighbor policy (although they did it without the help of flag@whitehouse.gov). Oh yeah… they also had universal healthcare. Maybe this will ring a bell with her.
Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, Nancy.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
