All right, already. By now you know that the Obama-as-Joker Photoshop bit was done by a minority, liberal, and loyal Democrat. Shock and awe, since so many on the left were too busy condemning right-wing extremists to recognize that (a) this isn’t the stuff conservatives do, and (b) this is exactly the kind of disrespect that liberals show. Especially toward one of their own.

The whole Nazi/Hitler/racist/KKK crap that came with it? Also not a right-wing tune: that’s very much a liberal orchestra’s favorite suite. Bear in mind that conservatives went to great lengths to fight Nazis, not put on their uniforms the way liberals did, in the early 1930s. And the KKK? Bear in mind that they were tools of the Democratic party only, and conservatives did not wear the white hoods the way a certain Democratic congressman still in office proudly did. Liberals invariably seem blind to their own ugliness.

In fact, the Czar isn’t going to even post a picture of the defacement. It’s stupid, wrong, and although well within the guidelines of good political free speech—the Czar wouldn’t criticize another Gormogon from posting it, for example—it’s just bitchy enough to be disrespectful to the office of the President.

But to give credit where credit is due, the best caption for that picture? “Why so stimulus?” Now that’s funny.

The Czar of Muscovy

The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
