Old Glory Weeps
The web site WorldNetDaily (www.wnd.com) has this headline on their web site today – Chinese flag to flutter over Ellipse in D.C.
The flag will be flown on September 20th to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Communist Chinese regime. This is what happens when you borrow money from your wealthy but obnoxious uncle that no-one likes, eventually you have to invite him over for Thanksgiving dinner.
Then again are any of us who read this blog on a regular basis really surprised that a President and an administration that are steeped in communist, Marxist, and radical leftist progressive ideals would not embrace their “comrades” in the global struggle for a workers utopia.
It could be worse; the flag could also have a sign underneath it that reads “Under New Management.”
The Mandarin, whose real name is 吏恆, joined the order in 1309, and introduced the Gormogons into England during the 18th Century.
The Mandarin enjoys spending time with his pet manticore, Βάρἰκος, or Barry (who can be found in the Bestiary). When not in the Castle…well, frankly, nobody is quite sure where he goes.
The Mandarin popularized the fine art of “gut booting,” by which he delivers a powerful kick to the stomach of anyone that annoys him. Although nearly universal today, the act of gut booting or threatening someone or something with a gut boot is solely due to him.
