In his Labor Day speech, President Obama said that paid leave, minimum wage, and Social Security “all bear the union label.”

Indeed they do:

1. Paid leave was intended to prevent minorities from grabbing white jobs when the jobholders went on vacation or on leave. By paying absentee employees, it is more difficult to fire them. This closes out opportunities for minorities to move up.

2. Minimum wage was intended to starve blacks out of the job market. Check into the Davis-Bacon Act to find out why. Minimum wage requirements prevent lower income businesses from competing on fair ground with higher income businesses today; this was initiated as a Jim Crow law for the purpose of holding down black businesses which tended to begin life as a lower income business.

3. Social security is of course a national socialist pension program.

The President does not lie when he thanks the unions for racist, pro-socialist programs. After all, that’s what they do.

The Czar of Muscovy

The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
