It’s a two-fer today!

A Georgia high school teacher has been accused of ordering an assassination on a 16-year-old student whom he suspected was gay.

The kid’s mom: “A teacher threatens to kill your child; that’s the most disturbing. It could have really happened!”

Uh, yeah! That’s why the school district showed no hesitation in suspending the teacher with pay.

The teacher’s disciplinary hearing has been postponed until after Thanksgiving, for after we’ve eaten a lot of turkey, sat around for a bit, and you know, basically cooled down about the whole thing.

Odds are the teacher will get in more trouble for asking about the student’s sexuality.

Fortunately, the Georgia criminal justice system will be having a little disciplinary hearing of its own.

The Czar of Muscovy

The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
