Credit Where It’s Due
When Bad Astronomy dismissed the Hadley CRU incident as ultimately trivial and meaningless, the comments section really lit up.
There is, of course, a mix of good and bad comments from both sides of the argument.
But comment 115 by Charlie Martin lands a good punch by referring to AGW popularity as “climate scientology.”
Not sure if he originated the phrase, but it is the first place we saw it, and so he gets the credit for a great one.

However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
