Europe’s Phantom Menace
RB, a Gormogon operative you seldom hear us mention because he is on very special and secret assignment transforming Saturns E ring into a wideband radio receiver (dont ask why; youll figure it out in 2014 when we bring it on line), mentions that Nigel Farage has been fined £2,700 (€2,980) for the below tirade against Herman van Rompuy, the Flem who would eliminate elected democracy in Europe.
European parliamentary leader Jerzy (Daj Mi Buzi) Buzek stated that Mr. Farages comments that Belgium is not a real country warrants an apology, which Farage has no intention of offering. The Czar agrees, at least until the EU apologizes for calling England a nation of right-wing fascists for opposing the appointment of an unelected president. But that was, as you see in the video above, not personal.
You knew this was coming. Europe is racing ever-more dangerously close to something Greatly Unwanted. You have an unelected president, with no known way to remove him, solidifying power across multiple countries. First casualty? Greece.
Been following this? What happens in socialist countries is what always happens when the public sector grows too large. Remember that everyone with a government job is paid for by the taxpayers in the private sector. If the public sector grows too fast with high paying jobs, the private sector folks cannot pay enough taxes into the system to pay the first group (look at how the average government worker in the US now makes more than the average non-government worker, and that US government jobs are the fast rising employment sector). In order to make payroll, the whole country goes into debt.
So what do you do? If you are the Greek PM, you announce a strict budget cutting program to eliminate growth of government jobs and freezing of wages. The unions disagree, and elect to slit their own throats by calling for strikes to protest. With the government unions refusing to budge, the debt has skyrocketed and the entire Greek economy is collapsing. When that happens, Greek democracy will be badly hobbled.
Of course, because Greece is a member of the EU, and all the economies are linked, this economic upset is spreading like a virus into the other member states. England and France have recognized this, and are demanding that something, anything, be done to prevent economic ruin spreading through the rest of Europe.
Meanwhile, the un-elected pro-socialist van Rompuy taps his fingers and smiles calmly.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
