S.E. Cupp is following us on Twitter. And you’re not?
What are you, nuts? Conservative author, commentatrix, and—respectfully—smokin’ hottie S.E. Cupp has come aboard the S.S. Gormogon Twitter feed. Sure, knowing us, it’ll hit an iceberg soon enough, but come on board, enjoy the ride! And don’t worry, the band knows “Nearer, My God, to Thee” by heart.
Who is the vivacious Ms. Cupp? She’s your average pro-religion atheist right-wing NASCAR fan and hunter… who’s worked for the New York Times. Because, you know, the Right is such a homogenous movement. She’s written two books, Why You’re Wrong About the Right: Behind the Myths: The Surprising Truths About Conservatives (with Brett Joshpe) and Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack on Christianity: Like the Time Frank Rich Curb-Stomped the Dalai Lama (forthcoming, end of April). Ok, Frank Rich didn’t jump the Dalai Lama—as far as we know. But, man, her editors love those colon-concatenated titles, don’t they?
Her website has been a mainstay of our Album Blogorum for some time, so you know you should be reading that—it’ll give you links to her columns in a ton of venues, including the D.C. Caller, the New York Daily News, and FoxNews.com. And your Volgi has read most of her first book and recommends it.
Also, La Cupp is a mainstay on Fox’s Red Eye, often going from a hilariously knowing and slashing wit to a baffled, scandalized, and, one memorable time, almost-vomiting paragon of sanity amid Greg Gutfeld’s Cirque de Lotion.
This kid is someone to watch, so get in on the ground floor. Also, get in on the Gormogons’ Twitter feed during this special introductory offer period, while it’s still free.
And who knows, maybe she’ll chime in or do an interview with us one of these days. Because based on this quotation lifted from her website, she’d fit right the hell in:
Don’t ask impertinent questions like that jackass Adept Lu.
