FotG Jonah Goldberg has it exactly right when he explains what the Israeli blockade is really about and what it truly symbolizes.

Better still, he asks some tough questions: if the UN is so pissed off about Israel’s collective punishment of Palestinians, why hasn’t the UN smacked down its own blockades, boycotts, and sanctions? Are these not also identical collective punishments?

The Czar of course thinks the UN is a collection of dim-witted leftist anti-American drug abusers who managed to legitimize their own socialist rally and have the US pay for it. But Jonah asks some slick questions. So: where are the answers? Where is the press? Where is the outrage? Like you need either Jonah or the Czar to explain that silence.

The Czar of Muscovy

The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
