On top of this Mr. Wrangle Rangel used his National Leadership PAC to pay his legal-defense team this year over $290K. He used an additional $100K from the PAC in 2009 to pay his lawyer Lanny Davis. Records show Mr. Rangel used $1.4M from his campaign monies in 2009 and 2010 to pay his legal-defense team, and another $100K in 2009 to pay Lanny Davis’ firm. He also spent about $150K on John Kern, a DC lawyer, and about $175K for a firm that offers forensic accounting and legal services. “Most open, honest and ethical Congress ever”, right Ms. Pelosi?
