More Obama vs. The Second
Operative ME of AZ wrote the Czar a letter regarding his early hours screed about choosing between Obama and the Second Amendment. The Czar expected email, but this response was outstanding and perfectly crafted. Lest you think the Czar is paranoid, the Czar provides the letter in full point-by-point terror, without comment:
Thank you for putting Operation Fast & Furious in the proper light regarding its intentions, effects, and what it tells us about the man who lives in the White House. Your words come across to an uneducated ear as unbelievable and extreme, but the facts as they stand suggest no other outcome
A quick review of those unbelievable and extreme facts:
1) Obama and his Department of Justice rail against the “river of iron” regarding the guns flowing from the border states to Mexico and state that restrictions must be placed on the sale of such guns. Before he took office, Obama has a long history of supporting restrictions on the Second Amendment , primarily through his work with the Joyce Foundation.
2) At the same time, Obama’s DOJ launches an operation that enables suspected straw purchasers for the Mexican drug cartels to buy high-powered weapons and take them across the border. We know from the whistle blower testimony of ATF agents that when they complained about not tracking the guns as per ATF SOP, they were told that it was the intention to pick up the weapons at crime scenes in Mexico; so the use of Fast & Furious guns in crimes and the killing of Mexican civilians was not a bug, it was a feature. In fact one ATF whistleblower was told by his supervisor the old maxim of “if you are going to make an omelette, you need to scramble some eggs.”
3) At the same time, Mexican and American government officials were issuing joint statements decrying that “river of iron”, the Mexican government was never told that the US DOJ was deliberately allowing guns to flow to Mexican drug cartels.
4) Attorney General Holder has repeatedly stonewalled requests for information on Fast & Furious and between that and the possibility he had provided false testimony to Congress suggests a cover-up reaching to the highest levels of DOJ and perhaps even further.
As an Arizonan, I have more than a passing interest in the story given that there have been drug cartel beheadings a mile from my old neighborhood and Fast & Furious guns have been found a short distance from where children live. The situation is such that there are posted signs more than 70 miles north of the border warning people to stay out of areas given the criminal gangs that operate there and in national monument areas along the border, the park rangers carry M-14s when they give tours. The ATF whistleblowers testified that when Congresswoman Giffords was shot, their first fear was that the gun used was a Fast & Furious weapon. With the border the way it is, what goes south comes back north.
There is much we have yet to learn but that process is hampered by the ongoing stonewalling of the Obama Administration. So we are left with Occam’s Razor to infer from the facts on hand about politicians who have strong interest in gun control who look to restrict part of the Bill of Rights by enabling the killing of innocent civilians. Does that sound extreme? Perhaps but is there anything other explanation that meets the facts as they stand?
It makes my blood run cold and yes, it frightens me because what else are these people capable of?
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
