You know what’s incredibly dangerous to Democrats’ identity politics? Gay Americans who think for themselves. Long-time Gormogons Twitter collaborator Gay Patriot has a home run post that reveals what a total crock the President’s suddenly evolved position on Same Sex Marriage really is.

The Czar will add that the President has done precisely as he expected: make a vote-getting claim with zero expectation of it ever coming to pass. Gay Patriot points out that the President wants the states to support gay marriage because he knows the states—as recently as this week—will not. The Czar will agree, and add that Obama wants the states to support gay marriage because he, the president, actually does not.

So when the liberal gays of America are done high-fiving their success, they may stop for a moment and realize that they have achieved exactly nothing. It’s the same old story that millions of black Americans can tell: the Democrats promise, but nothing will ever get done.

The Czar of Muscovy

However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
