It is a not very good 5-minute propaganda video. It makes not the message but the narrator the center of attention, by continually showing his face, underlit from one side. 

Nor is the narration enhanced by the piano music. 

And there is one place where I can’t even make out what he is saying; at 3:15 it sounds like “that the owls were victims of their larger cut than not people”. Skip ahead to there. 

Can you parse what he is saying? 

This message would take less time to read than to listen to, and in written form it might be more effective.

The owls are not what they seem.

“They were victims of their larger cousins, not people.”

I agree with you that the video does not add to what Dr. J. considers compelling audio. Dr. J. heard it in the car while driving, and the audio was crystal clear and powerful on the radio.
