Musings
Three musings.
Well, it looks like the not-adolescent party won the Greek elections, and some serious reforms are coming along to save Greece, Europe, and even partly American economy, right?
Not so fast: there are strong indications that the Left (surprise!) do not accept the results of the voting merely because it did not go their way, and that Greeces real unrest should be kicking in within weeks to a month away. Nobody is out of this yet.
Also, we were pleased to see Roger Clemens found not guilty, because it means that the Department of Justicetotally overwhelmed by the enormity of the case (possibly the most important trial in the history of American jurisprudence), now is totally freed up. As a result, a dozen staffers can easily walk over the missing thousands of documents requested by the Fast and Furious investigation. Right? And maybe some of those freed up attorneys could, maybe, look into that Black Panther election scandal?
Finally, a news story tailor-made for Puter.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
