Ever get a song stuck in your head, and not be able to get rid of it?

Well, Dr. J.’s buddy Jamie Jeffords, at the Eye of Polyphemus, while recovering from his most recent brush with death by colon perforation has been doing reviews of Three Stooges shorts, probably because that’s what he currently has the stamina for, and also because he needs a good chuckle.

When Dr. J. found this out, there was this annoying ditty from when Dr. J. watched the Three Stooges as a yout’ that resurfaced like memories from the Battle of Monte-casino. Specifically, the Stooges impersonate professors and end up teaching phonetics to college co-eds. Well today, Mr. Jeffords reviews that episode at the Eye and Dr. J.’s been clawing at his ears ever since he hit play on the You-Tube video.

It didn’t help that the Lil Resident caught a stomach bug while we were on vacation last week and ended up spending in the room, either in bed or in the bathroom. On that day, flipping through the hotel TV station’s she discovered the Three Stooges herself, and despite this episode NOT being broadcast, the song resurfaced like memories of the Tet Offensive leaving Dr. J. rocking in a fetal position in the corner begging for the memories to go away.
