A few years ago, Clan J. was shopping at the New Atlantis Mall, and as we’re walking in the direction of the Godiva store, a couple of older teens, one of whom was blond walked out of the store. The Lil Resident waived at one, said, “Hi Taylor!” who waived and said, “Hi!” back.

As we continued to walk along, Dr. J. asked the Lil Resident if that was one of her Bene Gesserit Chapterhouse camp counselors and she replied, “Oh, no daddy, that’s Taylor Swift.”

Nevertheless, the pop-country sensation made news on teh interwebz this week with the following tweet:

For those of you knot in the know, Kanye West, ever the classy gentleman he is, leaped on stage during the 2009 VMA’s to make a similar utterance regarding a Beyonce video that lost to Taylor Swift.

Now, it is not clear if this is real or photoshopping; regardless, it’s hilarious and if Ms. Swift didn’t think of it, she wishes she did.
