Mailbag: Be Concerned

Your Czarness,
Esteemed Associate has sent me an article courtesy of a website he visits (as do I) called “Virtue Online.” This article has to do with a sometimes touchy subject, homosexuality. In particular, it deals with an aspect of that disorder relating to child exploitation and molestation. He recommended I send it to you for review and possible use. At the very least, it will cause you do think deeply about some aspects of one’s own views on this problem which one may have thought they had previously settled in their own mind.
This isnt a field the Czar himself tracks, but we are certainly aware that there seems to be a push toward a casual acceptance of pedophilia and ephebophilia (actually, more the latter, technically speaking). But the Czar isnt buying it: regardless of ones sexual orientation, the reality is that children can never be fully informed and willing participants. Frankly, the age of 18 might be too low for consent: most 18-year-olds are stupid morons (though none who read our site, of course).
The Czar is also aware that some rightly skeptical are linking the support of pedophiles to gay activist groups…indeed, as if there was some specific need to link together. Perhaps it is just any-port-in-a-storm mentality, the way many liberal groups link together who normally would oppose each other in private but band together for votes.
This spreading notion that pedophilia isnt a big deal is definitely something to watch with extreme skepticism…almost like you would toward a group trying to convince you they werent acting with criminal intent, because, well, that is exactly it. Pedophilia is dangerous on its very face to a society. Another way to respond to folks promoting it? Other than you, who benefits from its acceptance?
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
