Now ERRATASTIC…Mailbag – Copy Editor Edition
Operative BG, our copy editor strikes:
Just pointing out a peeve of mine. I have many.
Also, Spanish emersion?
Otherwise, good post. I’m sharing the graph on my Facebook page.

Science is the process of crash testing ideas; the scientist does not coddle an idea, or design tests to make it work. The scientist rams the idea into a brick wall head-on at 60 mph, and knowledge is gained by examining the pieces. If the theory is solid, the pieces are from the wall.
Operative BG,
Thanks for the proofreading. Immersion/Emersion…yeah, yeah, we were thinking so hard about them getting out of the immersion business, that we prophetically used the word emersion. Also, given that we’re Papists at this website, we baptize by sprinkling rather than immersion or even emersion on the back end…
Regarding the money redundancies, Dr. J.’s not a Yale man, so what do you expect?
Thanks for keeping us honest…now go haunt The Czar or ‘Puter for a while!
ERRATA —-
Dr. J –
I wasn’t really casting about for you to post my last email, just kinda wanted to give you a heads-up and a chance to fix it (or to send some Force Lightning my way, as the spirit moves you).
But FWIW, the graphic (when did that become a noun, BTW?) that shows the redundancy seems not to be showing up, at least not on my computer, either in Firefox or IE. In FF, an empty white rectangle briefly appears, then vanishes, followed by my emersion complaint and then your comment. In IE, the empty white rectangle stays there, with a little black X in the upper left corner.
This is where you fess up and admit you had a major hand in sabotaging the Obamacare website, in the interest of your own professional self-preservation. Woe to he who sneers at the powers of The Gormogons.

Operative BG,
We’re running our blog in GorTniX version Tau.Phi.i, so the graphic you sent was in an incompatible format.
Dr. J. translated it from .png to .drjpg so we should be fine.
We can’t disclose any company secrets regarding the issues at the Obamacare website. We just know they have a lot of code to rewrite. And it has nothing to do with the force lightning you found waiting for you in your inbox.
