Obama’s Grand Political Theater
Remember the Lefts portrayal of George W. Bush as an intellectual dullard who skated through major schools by the grace of who he was, rather than what he knew? And how he was surrounded by corrupt scoundrels barely smarter than himself who misled him into making all sorts of foolish decisions? And how he was a jealous, petty, narrow-minded man who was really in it for his own reward and to increase the coffers of his big business friends?
You already know where the Car is going with this. What a superb summary of Barack Obama.
Richard Nixon hated Democrats. Hated themso much so, he did some stupid things. A little known but true story: one night, when he couldnt sleep, Nixon left the White House and strolled over to a 24-hour Vietnam War protest at the Lincoln Memorial and hung out with the protesters. They engaged in a dialogue, and some of the protestersshocked to see Nixon there with so little securityconceded he was really rather decent and polite to them, and not such a bad guy. The opposite was reported in the Main Stream Media.
Yesterday, the events are now clear, President Barack Obama ordered that as much inconvenience as possible be perpetrated on the public in order to take center stage in grand politically stupid theater. Positively celebrating the shutdown, Obama had automatic websitesthat cost nothing to runturned off, told volunteer staff not to come in, and even paid folks to close parks and memorialseven open air ones like the Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, and, yes, the World War II memorial.
So guards, normally not present at the World War II memorial, told folks that they couldnt walk through the open-air memorial even though the rest of the Mall was perfectly open to passers-through. Why? Grand Political Theater, starring Barack Obama!
The problem was that, despite guards and hastily erected barricades, World War II vets are not historically opposed to agreeing with tinpot dictators with full bladders. They went past the guards and took down the barricades in order to remember their fallen brothers and friends.
They got away with it, with some wagging fingers, but were sternly warned not to do it again! If you want to be mad, they heard, you need to be mad at the Republicans who did not close the memorials, and not at the President, who in fact did.
Already veterans groups are planning to show up in larger and larger numbers. This has the possibility of getting even bigger as non-World War II vets join them.
Historically, when veterans get together at the National Mall and refuse to leave, it ends badly for the President.
Of course, Barack Obama did not attend that history class. He attended the one where the evil Republicans in 1932 tried to stomp on the good veterans who fought in Whiteys War and massacred them like Indian women. Instead, he is taking on these Tea Party anarchists under the control of Rush Boehner.
So Obama does not even comprehend the fight he just picked because he is, well, an intellectual dullard who skated through major schools by the grace of who he was, rather than what he knew, And is surrounded by corrupt scoundrels barely smarter than himself who mislead him into making all sorts of foolish decisions. Because he is a jealous, petty, narrow-minded man who is really in it for his own reward and to increase the coffers of his big business friends.

Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
