Eddie Deezen v. Ezekiel Emanuel
Island Dweller has some observations:
Losing Our Cool, are we?
Your immenseness:
I had cause to laugh yesterday while watching an out-take from Megan Kelly’s show on FoxNews that featured an interview she attempted with Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm “The Godfather” Emanuel, about the crash-and-burn that Obamacare is currently performing. Ms Kelly is an attorney and it was patently obvious she was struggling “manfully” to hold her tongue while being subjected to a tongue-lashing on the part of Emanuel, who as it turns out, was one of the principal architects of Obamacare. In his typically extreme liberal response to her attempted questioning, his statements generally ran the gamut of “you Republicans desperately wanted this thing to fail from the beginning, did everything you could to block it, etc, etc, so of course you’re overjoyed at the problems it’s experiencing, you’re the reason it’s failed,” and so on and so forth. Typically for a liberal, no attempt was made to stand up like a man and say something like, “Yes, I was one of the principal authors of and advisers on it, and I now freely admit I made a mistake both in the design and implementation of the bill. It’s time for us to salvage what we can, revamp the law and save whatever is positive that may come out of it, and move on to a workable compromise with our Republican colleagues to benefit the American people.” Instead, without reservation it’s someone else’s fault.
Mr. Emanuel’s temper tantrum, live on camera, in front of Ms. Kelly was reminiscent of any of the best film displays of temper on the part of Eddie Deezen, right down to sounding like him.
The White House must be a very difficult place to be right now, both the East and West Wings, one would think. It’s warm enough in there they can probably shut down the furnace for a while.
Don’t think, however, that Dear Leader is defeated. He hasn’t thrown in the towel, although he’s trailing it in the ring. His “apology,” the extralegal “fix” he proposed, indicate he’s got a firm grip on at least one corner of that towel.

Eddie Deezen? Wow, you couldnt a more obscure actor, like Thomas Gottschalk?
Try not to work too hard to find any rational liberal commentary on the breakdown of Obamacare, especially after Thursdays disastrous press conference: there is almost nothing except stunned silence.
And a lot of scrambling on the side of Democrats. Observers are carefully noting that Congressional democrats are dividing between those who believe the President is calling the play and those who think hes about to torch the party. Everybody is aware the worst news about Obamacare should be hitting Americans in late summer of 2014 in time for the elections.
Meanwhile, Republicans are doing very littlefinally obeying the old maxim of keeping quiet while your opponents shoot each other. As such, the Czar never lets down his guard, knowing how many times this administration has been on the ropes and still manages to rebound.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
