Gentle Readers,
We have a new addition to the J. clan. This weekend, we welcomed into our home Lady J.’s half brother, Loki J.

Lady and Loki J. have the same mama, but different dads. So he’s not related to Rex Reagan. However, Loki’s paternal grandfather is none other than the legendary Harana Alfie Boe, the winningest Black and Tan of all time. His paternal great-grandfather is AKC CH Dortmund Take A Chance Harana At Brynwood, another champion Cavalier.

| Lady J. wanted to remind everyone that she’s adorable too! |
We welcomed Loki J. into our home after the breeder contacted us, hoping to place him with us. We’ve been discussing having a friend and playmate for Lady J, and the timing worked out a little ahead of Dr. J.’s schedule, as he was holding out for a Black and Tan, but as Loki is the last of his mother’s pups, Dr. J. and Mrs. Dr. J. couldn’t say no.

He’s been a terrific addition to the family, and Lady J.’s been a dutiful big sister and has been sleeping better since her brother moved into the crate next door, when he doesn’t spend his day loitering in her crate (as documented above).
