Planned Parenthood Videos May Be Crucial
Here are stories far more important than the Planned Parenthood savagery, according to the MainStream Media:
- Obama talking climate change.
- Cecil the lion
- Walker’s answer on Obama’s Christianity not answery enough for people
- Shooter kills man outside Mississippi courthouse
- Hitchhiking robot loses knockout game in Philadelphia to no one’s surprise
- Mullah Omar still dead
And on and on. In fact, there’s very little coverage to be found anywhere regarding the shocking videos now being released, and challenged, by hidden forces. There’s no question that this is intentionala variety of sources are openly admitting Planned Parenthood sent out communications demanding the media skip this storyand it’s also not working.
People are talking about these videos, even though few people seem to know the details of what’s in which video. And the media is going to great gymnastics to transform the Planned Parenthood discussion into a story about the GOP attacking women’s health.
The problem with this strategy is that the last few times the media tried to push the narrative that conservatives were anti-woman, it failed. It’s failing now, too, and the more they talk around the subject, the more clear the real story becomes.
Americans have always waffled on the subject of abortion, and for the first time, there’s a clear trend showing Americans moving away from it. The release of these videos are expertly timed, riding a wave of considerable pro-life sentiment in America: more than ever, Americans are against the death penalty, against euthanasia, and against physician-assisted suicide. Now ask them how they feel about physician-assisted infanticide, and you get a similar response. The videos are certain to push us further in the right moral direction.
The risk isn’t that Americans will suddenly swing in support of abortion again; the risk is that Americans will grow weary of talking about it and move on (like they have with race riots, gay marriage, and climate change). Fortunately, the videos are being released in well-spaced increments: as soon as talk wanes, another video is released and the outrage is sustained.
It doesn’t matter a whit if abortion is legal: so, once, was slavery until enough Americans were tired of it. There has been little movement on the pro-life front for generations; these videos may well prove to be a big enough lever. Let’s hope.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
