You\u2019ve heard this song before<\/a>, but these days, it\u2019s the increasing Chinese swagger (call it confidence, call it belligerence) and our almost complete detachment from foreign affairs\u2014and Amateur Hour<\/a> ham-fistedness when we do stagger off the well-trodden path of boondoggle spending and idiotic \u201cracist, racist, who\u2019s the bigger racist\u201d roundelays\u2014that are worrying Confucius. China\u2019s been planning a war with us for a long time, and their perception of our weakness<\/a> makes their making a foolishly aggressive move much more likely. Here\u2019s where Confucius usually tosses in an arch remark about our being lucky enough to have a robust F-22<\/a> force, but he hasn\u2019t been sleeping and his sense of humor is shot.<\/p>\n
