<\/a>Let us do some math. There are 300 million Americans, say.<\/p>\n

The Obama administration claims that 46 million people lack health insurance.<\/p>\n

Wait, though: it turns out<\/a> that this industry number included 10 million illegal aliens.<\/p>\n

So 36 million Americans lack health insurance.<\/p>\n

However, many of those people could be insured<\/i>, but choose not to be. In fact, we found<\/a> that 34,600,000 Americans could have insurance, but feel they do not need it, or are able to purchase their own medical services out of cash.<\/p>\n

So 1.4 million people are uninsurable, which is different from uninsured. These are folks who have been denied coverage and, we assume, would like it.<\/p>\n

But 200,000 of them are covered by special risk pools in 38 state programs.<\/p>\n

So 1.2 million people can not get the coverage they desire. That happens to be same number of people working in this country for minimum wage. And the same number of people hired for the 2010 Census. The same number of Americans suffering from macular degeneration. The same number of Italian Americans who served in the United States Army in World War II.<\/p>\n

And thus, the math comes out like this: 53% of Americans oppose 99.6% of Americans paying for 0.4% of the country’s healthcare bills.<\/p>\n

So the logic extended by the Progressive liberals in the healthcare bill make an argument that the majority does not rule in America. Consequently, their logic extends, reductio ad absurdum<\/i>ly:<\/p>\n

» People on minimum wage should be given a $60,000\/year salary.<\/p>\n

» All Americans shall work for the Census.<\/p>\n

» All Americans shall receive a seeing eye dog.<\/p>\n

» Italian should have been the default language for all training, operations, and documentation in United States Army between 1941 and 1945.<\/p>\n

This might also explain why so many Americans are ticked with Congress right now. Because the logic is<\/i> this stupid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
